Resilience Programs and Information
How do we respond to difficult events in our lives? Whether it’s a traumatic experience in childhood or stress at work, everyone responds differently, but resilience is key to coping with these events. Researchers and clinicians are focusing on the lifelong impact of trauma and stress on health outcomes and the role of resiliency. Eastern AHEC offers continuing professional development to help healthcare providers and caregivers learn the latest information about resiliency. Because resilience is at the intersection of individual and community health, Eastern AHEC is uniquely positioned to offer multidisciplinary/interprofessional programs with emerging evidence and best practices about this issue. Our resilience education resources can help you take care of yourself and others!
