Eastern AHEC seeks to strengthen healthcare in our region, and that includes serving, physicians, as well as patients. Primary care practices work face-to-face with patients every day, and we look to support both physicians and patients by offering practice support in Greenville, NC and eastern NC. Our support services can help you meet national program requirements and make your practice a better place to work or receive care.

We partner with several respected programs, including the NC Healthcare Quality Alliance, NC Academy of Family Physicians, NC Pediatric Society and more, to offer our resources and expertise for your benefit.

Eastern AHEC is pleased to announce that NC AHEC has partnered with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and Division of Health Benefits to help transition healthcare providers to Medicaid Managed Care.  Practice Support is providing on-site comprehensive Medicaid Managed Care education and assistance to healthcare providers across the state. QPP and MIPS: We’re Here to Help You!

 

The North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (NC AHEC) and Alliant Quality are working together to help small practices in North Carolina understand and successfully participate in the CMS Quality Payment Program (QPP) Merit-based Incentive Program (MIPS). Quality Improvement Consulting

 

We provide expert, on-site quality improvement consulting as well as workshops, training, webinars, peer-to-peer learning events and group collaboratives to enhance care and improve patient and care team satisfaction. We combine informed, technical knowledge with seasoned practicality to help practices improve patient care outcomes.

 

Electronic Health Record (EHR) Consulting

 

NC AHEC has assisted over 1,200 primary care practices in adopting an EHR and supported over 2,500 providers in achieving Meaningful Use.

 

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV

 

This is a Quality Improvement Project for MOC by the American Board of Pediatrics, and an Alternative Activity for Maintenance of Certification for Family Physicians (MC-FP) Part IV Credit by The American Board of Family Practice.
